Can Yaman, known from Erkenci Kuş, returns as the lead in the new Turkish drama Mr. Wrong (Bay Yanlış). The show is produced by Gold Film, directed by Deniz Yorulmazer, and written by Aslı Zengin and Banu Zengin.
Özge Gürel will star alongside Can Yaman in this series. They previously showcased their strong on-screen chemistry in the popular rom-com Full Moon (Dolunay).
Mr. Wrong (Bay Yanlış) has already gained significant attention before its broadcast. The first photos from the show led to the hashtag #BayYanlışFOXta trending in nine countries, with over 400,000 tweets within 24 hours from places like Turkey, Italy, Spain, Greece, Argentina, Brazil, the USA, Puerto Rico, and Chile.
The story of Mr. Wrong (Bay Yanlış) follows Özgür (Can Yaman), a wealthy restaurant owner who is cynical about love, and Ezgi (Özge Gürel), who is tired of failed relationships and eager to find her true partner. Özgür becomes Ezgi’s mentor, offering advice on how to attract the man she wants. As they spend more time together, their relationship deepens.
